O hai!! I haven't posted in a while. My job is going great and I'm learning something new everyday. So if you count 6 months and at least 1 thing learned per day...that's a lot of shit I've learned! Since I have a better income and a better job, I have more time on my hands and I've been playing World of Warcraft for the past month. I really like getting back into it and since I've changed servers to one where my ol' pal Kenny is, I've been included in a lot more raids and groups. It's tough to sit in one place for 4 hours to do a Karazhan run but in the long run my Warlock will be uber fucking cool.
I've been studying for the A+ exam. I should have taken it 5 years ago but I have major test anxiety and I didn't want to do it. Now that I'm working in the tech field, it's a requirement (by my department) for me to have it and it's kind of embarrasing for me not to be certified. I started this entry at like 1 and it's now 2...I'm done. |

Yeah I borrowed the title from Scrubs. I love that show. Anyway today was my first day at my new job. It was like stepping back in time because all of the buildings that I'll be working in look the same as when I started school some...few...years ago. I know I'm gonna learn a LOT of stuff from these people and it's gonna be a fun time too.
I had to do a ton of walking today because they had to show me what departments we support. It was also a hot day so the girls were wearing very little...I MEAN I sweat a lot. later. |

So today I had an interview with the University, but before that I had to work until 2. Around 12 or so I had a visitor come into my store and buy toner for the printer at her restaurant. Yep it was the girl I like and she came to my store!!!! She could have easily gone to the other office supply store and avoided me but she came knowing full well I work there! I passed by the ink section and saw her looking for what she needed; we talked for a few seconds then she asked "So when are you coming back in to get more food?" and I told her "Well it's been a week and I really need a panini fix." and she said "Well hopefully you'll come back in soon," or something like that and I think she wants me to ask her out.
Anyway I had my interview today and I think it went pretty well. I was pretty nervous in the begining. The last time I interviewed for a job, I had to go through 5 seperate people. This time it was 6 but they did it in 2 groups of 3 so it was pretty relaxed. I answered their questions as best I could. I hope I get this job...I really want to vent about my current one without the possibility of the bitch seeing this and getting me fired. |

I have an interview with Purdue University...I've had interviews with Purdue before but this is probably gonna be the most riggerous one yet. I have to talk to 6 people in a 3 hour period. The last interview I had with the Biology Department was 5 people, but that went quickly...something tells me this is gonna take a while and there will be a lot of questions. The bio job was gonna be me working as the buyer of the faculty's tech toys and installing them. I would also maintain support for it too. When I interviewed I was unprepaired for the test at the end. Not this time! I expect a full exam with an essay at the end. I'll freaking do it and win damn it! |

I'm such a freaking scaredy cat pussy. There's a girl that used to work at the pizza place near where I work. She's really nice and always smiling and happy. Well, a few weeks ago I saw her working at a new place on my side of town. She recognized me instantly and said hi, I didn't know who she was until she smiled because I'm used to seeing her in a hat and ponytail. When I got my food she said something like "Well maybe we'll see you around more often" or something. I dunno if that was her being hospitible or if she maybe MAYBE wanted to see me again. I think it was just her wanting to see a familiar face but I dunno. I've been back once before to get a sammich and she was there and she smiled at me but we didn't talk. I dunno, I keep going back and forth in my head with it and I don't want to make a fool of myself. |

But this isn't just any stalker, this one is from a few thousand miles away. It's 5 am and if you wanna google the exact mileage from Indiana to Ghana, West Africa you go right ahead. Basically my mom wants me to find a woman. Believe me I've been trying and had no success; so when she went to Ghana for my dad's funeral she found me one! Okay that's fine I'll try an email thing with her and see how it goes. So I email her and I never get one back. Next thing I know is that she called our home phone and told my mom that I didn't call her which wasn't the original plan in my head. What does my mom do? GIVE HER MY CELL PHONE NUMBER!!!
For two weeks in June I've been receiving calls at odd times in the morning/night from her. Most of the time I don't have my cell on me at those times because I'm either just getting into work and I can't have it on me or I'm asleep and I leave my phone downstairs so I can get a good rest. So now it's July 4th and I was supposed to be off today but I was bullied? to come in by Mrs. Limps-a-lot. I'm not supposed to be in until 9 so that gives me an extra hour of sleep. NOT ACCORDING TO THIS GIRL IN AFRICA BECAUSE SHE CALLED AT 4:50 am, 4:56 am, and 5:00 am! My mom finally answered the phone (The stupid vonage phone is in my room but my mom had the receiever in her bedroom) and she explained that the reason she hasn't called for the past 2 weeks was because she was sick...SO WHAT THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP I CAN'T SLEEP NOW. |

Alright. So I've been the lead associate in Business Machines for about a month now. I think I'm getting the hang of it; except one problem...NO ONE WILL LET ME DO MY JOB. And I'm not talking about others saying "oh I can do that for you," I'm talking about when I start something, I'm called off to do another thing by other people!!! I can never get one thing finished and my department looks like crap because of it. That's all I care to say about that because it's a small problem to me. Anyway, we got Terrabyte drives in today and they cost $400. I can't wait till programs and apps start requiring a minimum of 1 gig to store files...with DX10 and vista I'm sure it's gonna happen soon.
So now that I've geeked out on this blog, please go and tell everyone at work what I've written here whoever is reading and not commenting and telling me who they are. Don't make me make this friends only. I didn't want people at work knowing that I had another death in the family and posted here thinking none of my co workers read this. So please don't repeat stuff that I say here over there. |

Oh boy. It seems like I only post here with bad news. My aunt, the one who put my dad on a plane to Germany then eventually america, died in Africa today. My mom saw her a week ago and she seemed to be getting better but we knew her health was failing. Of course, having lost her brother probably didn't help her health at all. I don't have too many memories of her but she was one of the nicest people when she came to visit when I was 10. When I was 16, I visited Ghana and she wanted me to stay with her and her daughter at her place. She had one of the nicest houses in town because she was a money broker. She never acted like a person with money though, she was so nice to me and hospitible and got me any american food that I was missing. She was a very good person and I'll miss her. My mom has to go through all of this grief again.
I have abandoned putting my thoughts and feelings online because I thought it was pointless. I think I need to start writing stuff down again so I can get my feelings out and have an outlet. I'll try and post here more. |

Today I said goodbye to my dad for the last time. I'm sorry I didn't tell a lot of you but it's been pretty trying for me and my mom. My mom especially. We'll be sending his body back to West Africa on Thursday where he will be buried in Ghana, his home. He annoyed me, made me laugh, pissed me off, and taught me so many things and I loved him so much. I'll miss him. |

I learned that if sex isn't on film, I don't want to watch.
I'll start at the middle of the story because the begining is the standard "Let's get drunk by doing shots of 80 different kinds of liquor!" So we cut to me bent over in the sink throwing up as girls are patting me on the back (which I hated being touched while throwing up but I liked the attention) and comforting me. After I get done, my friends take me to one of the empty bed rooms and hook me up with a cold floor and some pillows and a few blankets.
All was good and I was asleep for a few hours as the party went on. People came and left and came into the room seeing how I was doing. Well a co-worker of mine came into the room, but she wasn't there to check up on me...she was there with some military dude making out. So I figured, okay they're just gonna make out and leave the door open. No problem, so I go back to sleep. Big mistake.
I wake up a few minutes later to see the door is closed and my co-worker is totally naked fucking this guy across the room. There was a fooseball table between us so there wasn't a clear view for them to see me seeing them in the act. I couldn't say or do anything at all but hear the sucking and slurping and spitting and...Oh God I'm scarred for life. Let's just say things got freaky when she needed to piss.
When they were done I got up and ran out of the room and told the girl who lived there what happened and they all laughed and said they realized I was still in the room and tried to get me out of there but they locked the door. holy shit. |
